Children and Young People

We welcome children to all our events and services but there are some specifically for these age groups.

Children’s Church Sunday School is offered during the main Sunday worship services at Carrum and Chelsea.Youth GroupA social youth group runs once a month on a Sunday evening between 6-8pm. Nerf wars, table tennis torniments, bowling, pizza making competitions and laser tag are some of the activities regularly enjoyed by the group.Children’s Craft A team of our church members are happy to provide craft activities at local fetes and festivals, sharing the Good News in the wider community.

Frankston Festival of Lights – Stable Nativity Photo Booth. In November, our Nativity photo booth can be found at the frankston festival of lights, where families dress up to have their photo taken, sharing the Christmas story with the wider community.
Messy Church Messy Church is a new way of being church for the whole family. There is worship, crafts, games and meals. Messy Church is on the 4th Sunday of the month at Chelsea from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Play Group Tuesday mornings 10-12 playgroup open to families in the community – come along for a play and a chat. $2. Click on the picture for more info.
Stable on the Strand At Christmas time each year we set up a stable in The Strand in the Chelsea shopping centre. People can celebrate Jesus’ birth by dressing up as shepherds, wise men, Mary and Joseph or maybe Baby Jesus. It’s great fun and reminds us all of the real meaning of Christmas.
