Nirringa

The Nirringa Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 7:30 pm in members homes. See the weekly notices for details.

Special Bible Studies

Occasional special studies occur after the morning service at Carrum. Studies are normally focused on a particular topic. They include a shared lunch and take about 90 minutes. Topics and dates are announced in the weekly notices.

Children’s Church

Sunday School happens during the main Sunday worship services at Carrum and Chelsea.

Book Club

The church is encouraging people read and discuss books about faith and current topics. Watch the weekly notices for details.

Hard To Swallow

Hard to Swallow Ethical Discussion Group
This is a monthly discussion group (Thursday evening 7:30pm) lead by a guest facilitator who guides us through ethics surrounding a specific topic. In the past these discussions have included topics such as ‘Just because we can have children, does that mean we should?’, Should robots fight wars?’ Do we really need faith in 2017?’, ‘Is an ethical Christmas even possible?’. We have also had discussions around Gambling, Alcohol, Ethics of War, Indigenous issues, The Date of Australia Day and many others.
